Benefits and Effects of Plastic Waste Utilization
The environmental and economic goal to be achieved during waste management activities is to reduce the total amount of waste and the amount of waste going to landfills, and to increase the amount of waste that is utilized during pre-treatment and recycling. The aim is to return as much waste as possible to production as manufacturing raw material, thus promoting the implementation of a circular economy.
The Steps of Plastic Waste Utilization
After sorting and classification by colour and material quality (HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, ABS, PET, PVC, PC, PA, PES, other), plastic waste collected from waste producers is pre-shredded and then ground.
In the technological procedure, the selection/removal of foreign substances and pollutants is carried out. At the end of the recycling process, the ground material with a particle size of 8-14 mm is packaged into large bags.
After the waste status has been revoked and a product conformity certificate has been issued, the waste that has undergone utilization becomes a product that we pass on to plastic industry recyclers and manufacturers for further processing.
